Tara Horton is our Client Services Director at the firm. While in school, Tara pursued her interest in property law, environmental law, and trusts and estates and extensively researched and wrote about Rails-to-Trails Programs: How is a Trails-to-Trails Program Initiated Under the National Trails System Act, and Is the Abandonment and Conversion of a Railroad Right of Way Classified as a Fifth Amendment Taking? and Trump Administration Rules Regarding Critical Habitat in Relation to the Biden Administration’s Proposed Rescissions, and was an active member of the Toledo Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, the Environmental Law Society, and OutLaw Society.
After earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law, she moved to Washington D.C. to seek new legal opportunities and explore her interest in estate planning and probate administration. Tara strongly values integrity, dependability, and respect, and she strives to treat each client with whom she interacts with these values in mind.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her family and pets, exploring new restaurants, and rock climbing.
